"God is watching his favorite band again! No wonder there are no clouds in the sky," words blurted by Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt. So much for exaggeration, but its not only God who watched Green Day perform that night but the more than 60,000 rhapsodic fans at the
Milton Keynes National Bowl in England. The band's first-ever live album, Bullet in a Bible, just proved how the group became the world's biggest pop-punk band thanks to their political zeal.
This live CD/DVD set was recorded last June 2005 during the band's two-night run at the Milton Keynes. The concert kicked off with a performance of the band's hits from their 2004 Grammy-awarded album American Idiot. The second part was a reprise of their greatest hits Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) from Nimrod, Basket Case from Dookie, and the crowd-pleaser Minority from 2000's Warning. The Keynes audience sings along overwhelmingly to the
band's every hit. Sticking with their trademark punk antics, the band combines rock opera in the song King for a Day.
The show was a huge success for Green Day. And as always the performance of Wake Me Up When September Ends and Boulevard Of Broken Dreams made the crowd more intense than ever. Bullet in a Bible may yet again be a testament to Green Day's
political agendas, but for now it made evident that they surely are the best pop-punk band in history.
Crazy are the people who do not know that the hottest commodities on the internet today are downloads (next to online shopping of course). From the latest Green Day song to the hottest Fox TV series, the computer has become a new niche for the day's best
